Alternatively, you can choose a toolpath from the Menu bar by selecting one of the sub-menu items associated with the Toolpath > New 2D Toolpath or Toolpath > New 3D Toolpath menu option. To create a particular toolpath in ArtCAM 2017, you can select the Project tree's Toolpaths item, then click its associated button from the 2D Toolpaths or 3D Toolpath area shown below the Project panel's splitter bar. I cannot deduce what results you've encountered when selecting the Project tree's Toolpaths item, as your ADAC_Toolpaths.png screen capture does not show them. Double-clicking the Project tree's Toolpaths item has never yielded a result in ArtCAM software. Clicking to select it, however, has always displayed it's associated tools and settings below the Project panel's splitter bar. Your ADAC_Toolpaths.png screen capture shows only the top-half of the Project panel's tree. For example, Autodesk ArtCAM Premium 2017 (64-bit build 110). What version and build of ArtCAM 2017 are you working in? To confirm this, select the Help > About Autodesk ArtCAM menu option in your ArtCAM 2017 software. Repeatably.Īny suggestions before I go looking for my decoder ring? Imagine double clicking the 'toolpath' text under project sheets / project panel. So, using your imagination, view the screen grab included. Don't want to load screen cast right now, it's not a 1 click add em deal, gotta find screen cast ($$ free?), didn't finish the last part. Is accessing 'toolpaths' a game of hide and seek? Not being smart alec (maybe a little).

I know where the toolpath selection is made, been doing it for years in Delcam ArtCam. Where / how is a toolpath created in 2017?Ĭompleted loading 2017, checking out various functions, many of which don't work, as reported on the forum.
